A Safe Space to Pause, Reflect & Grow

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming — whether you're navigating difficult emotions, relationships, major life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.

At Your Counselling Corner, we offer a safe, confidential and compassionate space where you can slow down, feel heard, and explore what you're going through with professional support. You don't have to navigate it alone.

Our Approach

A compassionate space where you don't have to pretend you're okay.

We believe counselling is not about fixing who you are. It is about creating a safe space where you can understand yourself, process what you're carrying and discover healthier ways of moving forward. Our approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in empathy. Sessions are thoughtfully adapted to your experiences, goals and pace.

Private & Confidential Your story is respected.
Warm & Non-Judgemental Come exactly as you are.
Individualised Support Your needs guide the work.
Flexible Sessions Accessible online support, wherever you are.

Founder's Note

Over the years, we have come to see that mental well-being is about more than addressing difficulties when they arise. It is also about understanding and caring for the whole person — mind, body, emotions and the life we are living.

This belief has shaped the way YCC has grown. Alongside individual counselling, we have created opportunities to pause, reflect and care for ourselves through mindfulness, relaxation, breathwork, therapeutic workshops and mental wellness initiatives.

We believe support can take different forms at different moments in life. Sometimes we may need support and clarity; at other times, calm, connection, greater self-awareness or simply a little space to breathe and reconnect.

For us, this is about creating space for healing, emotional growth, empowerment and mindful well-being — recognising that mental wellness can be nurtured through connection, learning and meaningful practices that support the whole person. Our hope is to continue offering meaningful care that helps people understand themselves more deeply, build inner resources and move towards greater balance, resilience and well-being.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions you may have before reaching out.

We will contact you to discuss your concerns and the session you are interested in. If you decide to proceed, we will share the relevant intake form, payment details and available appointment timings. Your session will be scheduled once the necessary steps are completed.

Yes. Confidentiality and privacy are important parts of our professional practice. Any limits to confidentiality that apply will be explained as part of the counselling process.

Our regular counselling sessions are 60 minutes.

The first session is usually an opportunity to understand what has brought you to counselling, discuss your goals and get a sense of whether the counselling approach feels comfortable for you.

There is no fixed number that applies to everyone. The duration of counselling depends on your concerns, needs and goals. Your progress can be reviewed together as the work develops.

That's completely okay. You don't need to prepare the “right” words or explain everything at once. The first session is an opportunity to begin getting comfortable, talk about what brings you to counselling and understand how we can work together.

You don't need to wait until things become overwhelming. If something is affecting your emotions, relationships, work or everyday life, an initial conversation can help you decide whether counselling may be useful.
